Somewhere In The Ocean

Here is another great children's book recommendation.

I found this vintage book at Salvation Army last week. When I got home, I realized the book is written to the tune "Over in the Meadow"! That was a lovely surprise since this is one of my daughter's favorite books and songs. The back of the book even has the sheet music.

Somewhere in the Ocean is written by Jennifer Ward and T.J. Marsh.

Illustrations are by Kenneth J. Spengler and they are beautiful.

First published in 2000.

Each illustration contains a hidden number for children to find, adding a "search and find" interactive experience.

This book is a fun way to work on counting as well! Highly recommend if your child loves ocean animals.The illustrations are really quite lovely.
